Ocala- Rudolph P. Johnson, Sr. was born on May 22, 1927 to the union of William Johnson Sr. and Edna Liza Kinsler in Ocala, FL. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Covenant Baptist Church in Ocala. Later years, he became a member of Clearwater Missionary Baptist Church in Ocklawaha, Florida. He was a choir member and a faithful Sunday school attendee. He was ordained as a Deacon by Rev. Leonard Scott In 1997 and served as the assistant chairman of the Deacon board. Rudolph P. Johnson was united in marriage with Elouise Hill Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Elouise Johnson; four children, Rudolph Johnson Jr. (Brenda), Mitzi Beno (Christopher), Marlisa Johnson, Fran Morand (Lofton); mother-in-law, Martha Thomas; sisters-in-law, Lillian Fleming, Cynthia Gordon (James); brother-in-law, Clarence Hill; grandchildren, Kennedi Johnson, Trey John-son, Shawnta Morand, and a host of other relatives and friends. Rudolph P. Johnson, Sr. departed this life on February 19, 2016.He was preceded in death by his parents, William John-son, Sr. and Edna Johnson and his brother, William Johnson, A memorial service will be held for Rudolph P. Johnson, on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 3:00pm at Clearwater Missionary Baptist Church, 14021 SE 117th Place, Ocklawaha, FL, Rev. Julius Beard, Pastor, officiating and Former Pastor Rev. Leonard Scott, Eulogist.
