Eula Bell (McCombs) Williams

Eula Bell McCombs Scott Williams age 86, transitioned to her heavenly home on October 30, 2025 after a lengthy challenging health battle. Eula Bell McCombs was born March 1, 1939 in Romeo, FL to the late Rev. James & Nancy Smith McCombs. She was the first live birth of the couple and was the oldest of six children born to this union. Eula attended Public School in Marion County Florida, graduating from the Historic Howard High School, (Wild Bulls). Eula was employed at Pioneer Cake Decorating Company early in life. Later she went on to earn her degree in Cosmetology and Early Childhood Education. Eula Bell became the owner and operator of Williams Family Pre-School for many years. She retired from what she loved which was serving children. She was preceded in death by her husbands John R. Scott and Leon Williams. In her passing she leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children Angela Scott Milson, Mikety Scott Sr. (Debra), Voldez Scott Sr. (Melissa), Ida Mae Hayes, Leoma Williams Merthie, and Mary Lee Hall. Her niece Patricia Williams (Adon) whom she help to raise, Eula had 21 Grandchildren and 30 Great-Grandchildren, three sisters in law: Diletha Wiley, Crystal McCombs and Carolyn McCombs. After the passing of her sister Ginnet Jones, Eula became the surrogate Mother to her Nieces Ardweina Johnson (James), Sharbrese Pruitt, Erroka Jones, Sonji Ponder (Stephen) and Nephew. Wynton Muhammad (Portia), God Sons, Geramie Jackson, Anthony Grant. Eula Bell also leaves a host of brokenhearted nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted sisters, sorrowing neighbors, friends, Deaconess, and classmates. Eula Belle McCombs Scott Williams will lie in repose at Clark Funeral Home, 434 N.W. Martin Luther King Blvd., Ocala on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 12pm – 5pm. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church, 606 S.W. Broadway, Ocala.
