Mathis Lee Annie 78 passed away on Tuesday , January 8, 2013 Beloved wife of Plato Mathis for 57 years. A loving mother of two children, Plato (Gwendolyn) and Ian (Nicole) of (Tampa, FL) Beloved grandmother of four Maxwell, Chantel, Chrystian , (Tampa, FL) and Brea (Tallahassee) and one great grandchild. She leaves to mourn two sisters Ruby Debose (Hawthorne, FL) and Bernice Stevenson (Orlando). She was a faithful member of New St. John Missionary Baptist Church and graduate of Bethune Cookman University. She was a teacher for the marion county public school system for 25 years, As well as a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. Visitation will be held on Friday January 11, 2013 at the new Cunningham funeral home from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. A wake will be held on January 11, 2013 from 6:30 until 7:30 At New St. John Missionary Baptist Church.
