Ocala- Norman L. Williams Sr. 84 was born August 6, 1933 in Polk County to the late Oscar Williams and Ethel Wright Thomas. Norman Peacefully passed away on October 3, 2017 at Superior Residence at Cala Hills.
Norman L. Williams Sr. graduated from high school in Lakeland, Fl. in 1951, enlisted into the Army-Air-Corps which later became the United States Air Force. On June 6, 1955, he married his high school sweetheart, Geneva Smith of Lakeland, Fl. From This union were three sons; Norman Jr., Eric and peter.
Norman Sr. (preceded in death, his son Eric C. Williams). He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Geneva S. Williams of Ocala; two sons , Norman L. Williams Jr.(aka) Ty’n Thonotosassa (Charlotte Armstead) of Baltimore ,Maryland; Peter Williams (Pauline) of Trenton NJ.; six grandchildren: Teriyaki-Reba G, Crystal, Norman Wesley, Allyssa, Samuel, and Jenella; great-grandson Christopher L. Williams and other great-grandchildren; sister- in- law: Lena Picket (Edgar)(Bernice Smith (Cherry Smith), Hazel Perkins all of Lakeland, Fl. and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services for Norman L. Williams Sr. will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Faith at 10:00 am .Rev. Dr. Lorenzo Edwards Officiating. A viewing will be held on Monday, October 9 at Clark funeral Home from 4:00pm until 6:00 pm. Interment will be at the Florida National cemetery in Bushnell, Fl. on Thursday Oct. 12, 2017 at 11:00 am. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Funeral Home.
